The Birth Rites Collection Summer School is a unique programme of lectures, workshops, seminars and one-to-one tutorials that introduces participants to the art collection and facilitates a dialogue between them, their practices and the artworks. The course is led by Helen Knowles, BRC Curator and artist, Hermione Wiltshire, artist and Senior Lecturer at the Royal College of Art. This year, visiting speakers included Laia Abril, Sophie Lewis, Francois-Jospeh Lapointe, Joscelyn Gardner, Nora Heidorn, Elsa Montgomery, Anna Battaglia, and Marta Stysiak. The program was held at King's College, London, UK, in July 2021, and online in September 2021.
